Did you wait for the iPhone OS 3.0 update just because you wanted to hook up your iPhone to your Mac or PC and tether along the way? Did you go through the nasty process of updating just to find out that tethering was disabled with your carrier? Well, here you go:
Richard Lai explains on his blog, how easy it is to install MobileConfig-files on your iPhone for (maybe) all worldwide carriers. It’s 1-2-3, tethering enabled! Just visit http://help.benm.at/ directly from your iPhone and you are good to go. It works great; I’m writing this being connected via bluetooth. Thank you, Richard Lai!

In a rare treat for developers at this year’s WWDC, Apple is showcasing 20,000 of the most popular iPhone apps on a massive hyperwall built out of Cinema Displays — one that pulses in sync with each and every App Store download.
The array, mounted on a wall inside San Francisco’s Moscone Center West, is made up of twenty edge-to-edge 30-inch Apple Cinema Displays, each of which are powered by a Mac Pro running Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. One eyewitness says the systems are pooled together in one large, monolithic black box.

True to rumors, Apple today announced that the new iPhone 3G S will launch on June 19th in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK. Launches will occur one week later in an additional six countries, with many more launches around the world coming over the next few months.
The iPhone 3G S contains many of the features that had been rumored including Digital Compass, Video Recording, Voice Control, 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and faster internet speeds.
Apple has also posted a guided tour of the new iPhone 3G S.

Engadget – As promised, Apple just debuted its upcoming iPhone OS 3.0. Much of the news seemed developer-centric, but there are certainly plenty of consumer implications down the road, along with long-awaited functions like copy and paste, A2DP, MMS and universal Spotlight search.

After 9to5mac.com rated yesterday’s image of the said-to-be new Mac Mini as fake by a forensic analysis, they recap on their decision now, as this video of the new mini seems to be quite authentic.

A possible image of the next generation Mac Mini was first posted to a MacRumors forum discussion thread. The image depicts what could be the next Mac mini.

Mac Rumors posted images recently, claiming to depict the back cover of an upcoming iPhone. iPodObserver first posted a version of the above photo that allegedly depicts an unreleased 16GB iPhone with the model number A1303. This new iPhone case is said to “shed its glossy appearance for a matte black look” and also introduce a new case-back made of metal.
The site seems confident in the photo and reminded readers that they were also responsible for publishing an early back-case photo of the iPhone 3G. MacRumors has also received additional images that appear to be from the same series.
If this forecast will turn out as true, this magnificent concept of an iChat iPhone by Rodolphe Desmare will just remain a dream:
This concept looks extremely slick! Taking Apple’s design evolution from the latest MacBook’s and MacBook Pro’s, this design would be the next logical step. Pack the Mac into the iPhone and shake, voila! Click the image for a large version.
