Apple Introduces New Laptop With No Keyboard – MacBook Wheel

Richard | January 8, 2009

Hey, welcome back to squeeq! I’ve been away for almost two weeks as I spent NYE in warmer fields, however, my cable was cold. That’s why I could not post any sooner…

OK, What was important? So much, but to pick just a few: New Years Eve, and of course Apple’s Keynote at MWSF on January 6. Besides new iLife ‘09, iWork ‘09, a new unibody aluminum 17″ MacBook Pro, there was yet another product reveiled: The MacBook Wheel:

New MacBook and MacBook Pro To Be Released October 14

    Richard | October 9, 2008

Ok, I’m back. This also applies to the MacBook and MacBook Pro. Apple usually sends out invitations to upcoming events one week in advance and today, Gizmodo and Engadget received one, showing the picture above.

On october 14, Steve Jobs is to announce the innovations and specs of the new notebooks, and rest assured, they will leave a mark. Reliable sources listed the following specifications: NVIDIA GPU, larger drives and LCD-backlit screens. The Inquisitr claims that some Apple retailers have already been given price lists for Apple’s upcoming laptops and that there are 12 price points ranging from $800 to $3100. Current laptops are said to have only have 8 retail price points: 3 Macbooks (starting at $1099), 3 Macbook Pros and 2 Macbook Airs.

Earlier this week, the website Apple.pro released what was said to be spyshots of the new MacBook Pro covers. A referral to “The Brick” was doubted (see pics below). Stay tuned for more information.
